The Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance took effect on July 1, 2024. Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection has issued clarifying guidance and administrative rules regarding compliance with that Ordinance. Join Scott Cruz, Labor and Employment Partner at UB Greensfelder, LLP for this informational webinar as he discusses the Ordinance in order to help you understand what, if any, revisions or modifications to your written paid leave and paid sick leave policies you (hopefully) should have made and, if the manner in which you are enforcing that written policy needs to change based on the clarifying guidance and applicable administrative rules.
