The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 which promotes the interests of businesses and industries in the local community. The goal is to support the local business community and enhancing the economic well-being of the area. Businesses join the Chamber for a fee based on the size of their business and a tier system of benefits. Membership is open to any business who wants to engage in their community and grow their business. Businesses do not have to be located in the Village of Bloomingdale to be accepted as a member; any business who’s does business in the area is welcomed to apply.
The primary functions of the Chamber include advocating for local businesses, providing networking opportunities, referrals and offering educational resources and support to its members. Through various events, such as breakfast meetings, after hours, ribbon cuttings and educational meetings, the Chamber provides a platform for local businesses to connect, grow and succeed.
The Chamber plays a vital role in supporting and strengthening the local business community. By fostering collaboration, providing resources and support, and advocating for the interests of its members, it helps to create a thriving and prosperous economic environment for the area.
The Chamber offices are located in Old Town Bloomingdale, in a old house from the 1900s. The Chamber office is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 4:0 0pm, unless staff is attending an event or in the community.
