Welcome. The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce set up this page to help its members advertise their holiday events and to make it easier for you to view the various events taking place around Bloomingdale. New this year, at the Chamber's Open House on Nov. 29th, the night of the Tree Lighting, you can view the Gingerbread Village the kickoff to the Parade of Gingerbread Houses. Get multiple stamps in one visit.
1) Download the map or pick one up at a participating business.
2) Visit each business and vote for your favorite gingerbread house by donating money into the ballot box. If the business is closed, you can make your donation by dropping your money in an envelope into their mailbox.
3) Receive a stamp on your map that you have visited the business. If the business is closed, you can submit a selfie of yourself in front of the business. Each stamp you receive (or selfie) is an entry into a drawing to win $200. Complete the map and double your entries into the drawing!
4) Submit your map to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, 104 S. Bloomingdale Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108 or email to Contest@BloomingdaleChamber.com with subject Gingerbread. All maps must be received by January 9, 2026 to be eligible for the contest. The Chamber is not responsible for maps arriving late due to the post office.
6) The winner will be chosen by random draw on January 13, 2026.
6) No purchase necessary. The money collected from your votes will be presented to St. Isidore's PADS program for the homeless.

Holiday Trees returns to Bloomingdale’s Old Town Park. Chamber members are decorating trees that will line the sidewalk, each with a sign showcasing its sponsor. This is a fantastic opportunity for smaller businesses to gain visibility. Hidden in the trees will be a pickle ornament— be the first to find it, snap a selfie, and share it to the Facebook Group BloomingdaleStrong. The first person to email Contest@BloomingdaleChamber.com with your selfie will win a gift card donated by local businesses. Any selfies maybe posted on Facebook. If you wish not to have your selfie posted, please state that in the email. Names will not be shared on Facebook. The pickle will be hidden again for the next person to find! The trees will be up from November 29 through January 5, just in time for the Village’s Tree Lighting & Kris Kringle Market and the Park District’s Festival of Lights. Special thanks to Platt Hill Nursery for donating the trees and to the Bloomingdale Park District for their assistance with the placing the trees in the park.
